The VALITS 2.0 project is an Erasmus+ project funded by the European Union in collaboration with five project partners. The project was started in December 2019 and will be implemented within a project duration of two years.
VALITS 2.0 is a project aimed to help low-skilled persons and disadvantaged groups in identifying, improving and better using their informal transversal skills in the challenging European labour market.
While formal skills such as school education and work experience can be confirmed by certificates, there is no validation of informal transversal skills so far when applying for a job. However, for low-skilled people and disadvantaged groups these skills can be the key to access a job.
Therefore, the project consortium will develop three innovative tools aimed to make informal transversal skills visible, show ways to improve them and train professional qualification consultants to better support low-skilled people.
